The medium is the message, a Canadian chap named McLuhan warned. We began abandoning the art of rational persuasion a generation ago.
We chose images instead.
There aren’t any serious debates left; only fear and lies, lies and fear. Burning streets, and angry faces on screens.
Screenheads scold and threaten us. Listen only to us. Stop that. Do only what we tell you when we tell you. We know what’s best.
We will delete your image. Obey us or else.
They appear unaware that no one is listening. No one trusts their maskless faces anymore.
We are quarantined with our own images now, haunted by fears of anyone alive and breathing near us.
Welcome to America-19.
