What scares me is that I’m slowly learning to act older. Walk to church, stopping in a favorite coffee shop to keep me awake during service. Afterwards, drop by a small cafeteria for take-out Sunday dinner—a generous portion of mashed potatoes, chicken cutlet, mushroom gravy, and a smile of fresh beets— it wouldn’t be Lithuania without them. Cost? €3.95.
I was going to invite Eleanor Rigby to lunch, but Father McKenzie beat me to it.😎
