The Water’s Edge

By Michael Patrick, Ph.D.

Politics is the preferred language in the worst mistreatment of others. We speak it fluently in the trade of power and money. Who benefits from its divisive fruit in America today?
During World War 2, fellow Hungarians shot about 20,000 Jews and dumped their bodies in the Danube. Only their shoes were left. The perpetrators thought better of themselves, less of them, and it led here. We are never far from the river’s edge when money and power are at stake.
